Delete Your Account

What gets deleted

Deleting your Tuneline account permanently removes, from our servers:

• Your email address, display name, and profile
• All linked devices and refresh tokens
• Playlists, favorites, and watch history synced to your account
• Preferences and settings saved on the server
• Subscription records (not your payment receipts, which the payment processor retains for tax compliance)

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This does not remove any data stored only on your device — use the app's Settings to clear local data.

Delete from within the app (fastest)

1. Open Tuneline on any device where you're signed in.
2. Go to Settings → About → Account.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and all synced data are removed immediately. You will be signed out on every device on next sync.

Delete individual items without removing your account

If you only want to remove some of your data, you don't need to delete your account:

• Playlists: Settings → Playlists → Delete (trash icon)
• Favorites: Long-press a favorited channel → Remove
• Watch history: History screen → Clear
• Preferences: Settings → General → Reset

These changes sync to your account on your next online session.

Can't sign in? Request deletion by email

If you lost access to your device or can't sign in for any reason, email support@tuneline.app from the email address you registered with. Include "Delete my account" in the subject line. We verify ownership by requiring the request to originate from the registered address, then remove your account within 30 days.

Retention of residual data

After account deletion, we may retain a small amount of data for the minimum period required by law — specifically, transaction records for tax and accounting (typically 7 years, as required by our payment processor's jurisdiction) and logs necessary for fraud prevention. None of this retained data is used to identify you for any other purpose.
